Ideal traveling time for Bulgaria
What is the perfect time to plan you holiday ? The ideal time is highly depending on your program. The low season is characterized by perfect weather for roundtrips without too much visitors in all main places, whereas the high season is perfect for people searching the sun.

Change in Bulgaria
As of 2016 the currency in Bulgaria is the Euro. This means that travellers from the EU do not have to change their money. Non EU Tourist however still have to change to EUR.

The standard is cash. In restaurants, souvenir shops, bars and discos it is uncommon to pay with credit card. ATM machines are everywhere along the boulevard and city center. Check your costs for international cash withdrawals in your bank before departure. Withdrawing money in exchange offices in the resorts always result in a 10% commission, so always use an ATM.
Climate

Along the 378km long coast line there are 2 main resorts. Golden Sands and Sunny Beach. Our personal choice is Golden Sands because of some pleasant advantages:
