Comfortable Shoes: The Botanical Garden is built on a steep hillside with many stairs and uneven paths. Flip-flops are not your friends here—of course, keep them handy for the beach later!

Is it suitable for children?
The gardens feel like a maze, which kids love, and the beach time is a perfect reward. However, there are a lot of stairs, so keep an eye on them near the steep terrace edges; this also means it is not recommended with a buggy.
Is it suitable for people with disabilities?
To be honest, the palace and botanical garden are built into a steep cliffside with lots of uneven stairs, making wheelchair access really tough. Our heart-to-heart advice? Save yourself the stress and don’t even try this one! Since the entrance isn’t compulsory, just ask our driver to bring you straight to the promenade instead. You can enjoy a drink, hit the beach, and soak up the Balchik vibes—it’s much better than struggling with the palace, which isn’t reachable without climbing stairs anyway.

After your visit, please head back to the original entrance where our driver will be waiting at the parking lot to drive you down. If you choose to exit at the beach instead, just contact him to collect your swimwear!
